1. Your presentation included a wealth of information. 2. Your report contained some very interesting facts. The origin of the name of the Baby Ruth candybar was one of them. Was it named for Babe Ruth, the baseball star or the president’s newly born daughter Ruth. It was interesting that the creator said it was named after the president’s child, even though most of the evidence suggested it was named after the baseball star. The motive for lying was to save money. If named after the baseball star, he could get a slice of the profits. But the president and his family are public figures and therefore people can talk about them. 3. The fact that she was the first first lady to meet with a foreign queen outside of her husband’s presence was interesting. 4. It was interesting that she was the youngest first lady. 5. it was especially interesting that the first lady’s mother and the press thought that the president was going to propose to her and not her daughter. Quite a scandal for those days. 6. The fact that she was a fashion trendsetter was especially interesting.
Weaknesses:
- You spoke too quietly. Speak up. - You muttered a lot and I had to keep playing your presentation to understand what you said. - You mispronounced some words, “Preponderance” is an example. - Your content was exceptionally good, but your spoken word lessened the effect.
